Abstract
We make use of the previously derived solution for a system of two coupled finite difference equations with variable coefficients to obtain explicit expressions for factorial polynomials (Pochhammers) of 2 x 2 nonautonomous matrices. We present combinatorial, recursive, and graphical methods for the evaluation of these expressions.
